Anyone that knows me in the slightest, knows how much I love Greatest American Hero. Today, it finally happened! I had the pleasure and opportunity to meet William Katt!
Seriously, I rarely get tongue tied around anyone, but I was in one of those "geek" modes when I met him. You know, when you think you say the silliest things, ask a million questions, and forget to ask a million more you wanted too. That was me in a nut shell. I watched the show when it first aired on TV in the early 80's. Then in 2001, when it was syndicated on Action Network here in Canada, I followed it religiously. A few years ago, they finally released them on DVD. Then just a few months ago, I got to do some sketch cards based on the show. It's a fans dream come true no doubt.
William Katt was such a down to earth and awesome guy. I wish I had more time to chat with him though. We also share the same favorite episodes, "Beast in Black" and "The Plague." I gave him the only sketch card I got back from the run I did, and he said he would pass it along to Robert Culp (the card was of him eating dog biscuits). That is just too damn awesome folks. Ok, enough gushing, here is a pic of us at the con today. I was honored to be joined in the photo by my wonderful mom, beautiful daughter, and Mr.Katt of course. Big thanks to

for taking the pic too!
Cheers!

Question: You seem to work with vectors, sometimes with lineart/stroke, sometimes without.
When you DO have linework, what kinda tool do you use for it?

All he wants is pain, pain and hate.... yes, hate. But never Fear. Fear is for the enemy. Fear and Bullets.
You're genius
